Effective Solutions for Minority, Women & Veteran Owned Transportation Businesses

The National Minority Truckers Association (NMTA) has collaborated with 3642 Logistics Group to introduce the Illinois Minority Truckers Consortium (IMTC). The IMTC is a state-wide conglomerate of Minority, Women, & Veteran owned transportation firms seeking freight opportunities with large public and private sector shippers and their associated Supplier Diversity programs.
Mission
Identify, Recruit, and Certify qualified Minority, Women and Veterans owned transportation firms to successfully participate in major contracting opportunities which will inevitably build sustainable businesses within the transportation industry.
Opportunities
It is well documented that small and disadvantaged businesses have been unable to compete in large contract opportunities due to various reasons. These reasons may be a lack of capacity, scalability, infrastructure, or access to capital. NMTA and its corporate partners have provided comprehensive solutions to enable participants of the IMTC to collectively operate with solutions and performance abilities that will rival the largest transportation providers.
Capacity
Currently the IMTC is made up of over 500 units primarily in the State of Illinois. The goal of IMTC is to amass over 2,000 Units within the Midwest region of the United States:
